It takes audacity to start a business from scratch. It also takes brains, judgment, humility and the ability to laugh along the way. Andrea attracts talented designers who thrive in an atmosphere of hard work, irreverence and fun. After more than 25 years in business, she knows how to b.s. and finesse often at the same time. No bull.
Andrea earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Colorado State University. She founded Bainbridge Design in 1983 and has yet to reach her peak (she claims).
Senior Designer/Project Manager
It’s easy to see why clients like Rachel. She is a friendly, insightful, easy-going problem solver (and with three young kids, it’s a good thing). She never drops the ball, never misses a detail and never loses sight of the big picture. She’s also an excellent time manager, meaning the dog gets a good walk every day. Lucky dog. Lucky us.
Rachel graduated from the University of Oregon in Interior Architecture. She's a gifted designer with a passion for space planning projects the larger the better.
Heidi’s passion is creative concept development – for large, complex projects and small intricately detailed ones. She is funny, confident and not afraid to think outside the box. She hates to shop, and oddly enough, hiccups about once an hour. She doesn’t scare easily, so that cure won’t work.
Heidi has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design (Magna Cum Laude) from Washington State University. Her design skills and attention to client needs make her a valuable addition to any project team.
With a background in art and architecture, Marisa is an aficionado of fine design. She loves creating designs that make space beautiful and enjoyable for its users. Outside work, Marisa explores local happy hours and watches realllly bad reality TV. She's known as the "baby whisperer" for her ability to make babies fall asleep. She helps clients sleep better too.
Marisa has a Bachelor of Interior Architecture with minors in Architecture, and History of Art and Architecture. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2013.
Ali is a vibrant addition to our office. Unafraid to try something new, she exudes fresh thinking and a fearless spirit. Her design chops include proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop and Illustrator. She loves cooking and is currently having a “very intense” (her words) affair with collecting coffee mugs. Java is her life force.
Ali graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She also has a Minor in Visual Arts.
Keith's wheels are always turning - whether thinking, imagining, or biking. He has extensive and wide-ranging land use planning experience for public and private clients. He also knows how to get things done and doesn't tire easily. Bumps in the road don't throw him. Keith takes everything in stride - even occasional flat tires.
Keith has a BS/MS in Geography from Oregon State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Because he is passionate about improving community livability, he frequently serves on citizen advisory committees dealing with land use and transportation issues.
